Hybrid solar system prices, by size.
Thirteen configurations across two voltage families, itemised so you can see what the money buys. Six are published prices; seven are derived from them and labelled as such.

What does a hybrid solar system cost?
On our published home and small-business range, equipment runs from about $3,150 for a 6.5 kW array with 16 kWh of storage to about $26,800 for a 60 kW array with 128 kWh. In unit terms that is roughly $0.36–0.67 per watt of array, and $81–88 per kilowatt-hour of battery.
These are equipment prices, FOB. They exclude freight, customs duty, local installation, permits and grid connection fees — all of which are set by your port and your installer.
Standard-voltage hybrid systems.
The right family for the Philippines, Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya — all 220–240 V. Confirm 50 Hz or 60 Hz for your grid before ordering, because the inverter has to match it.

Inverter count follows the same 1.2× array-to-inverter ratio used in our published 10 / 30 / 60 kW builds. For a 12 kW array a single 12 kW inverter is also a valid configuration and would reduce that price by $450–600 — ask which one suits your load shape.
Dual-output hybrid systems.
For markets that need 115 V and 220 V from one system. The dual-output inverter costs more per kilowatt than the standard-voltage one, which is why this family sits higher per watt at the same array size.
| System | Array | Storage | Modules | Inverters | Total | Per watt | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 6.5kW + 16kWh | 5.04 kW | 16 kWh | 8 | 1 | $3,150–$3,350 | $0.625–0.665/W | Published |
| 12kW + 32kWh | 11.34 kW | 32 kWh | 18 | 1 | $6,000–$6,500 | $0.529–0.573/W | Published |
| 24kW + 48kWh | 24.00 kW | 48 kWh | 38 | 2 | $10,150–$11,550 | $0.423–0.481/W | Derived |
| 36kW + 64kWh | 30.24 kW | 64 kWh | 48 | 3 | $15,000–$16,500 | $0.496–0.546/W | Published |
| 48kW + 96kWh | 48.00 kW | 96 kWh | 76 | 4 | $20,200–$23,000 | $0.421–0.479/W | Derived |
Three things this table tells you that a price list does not.
| Observation | Why it happens | What to do about it |
|---|---|---|
| Cost per watt falls as the array grows | Inverters, accessories and custom parts spread across more modules | Do not buy the smallest system that technically fits — but do not buy the largest either |
| Storage moves the price more than array size does | A 16 kWh battery pack is $1,300–1,400; adding storage is the fastest way to change the total | Decide backup hours deliberately, against the loads that actually have to stay on |
| The 12 kW + 16 kWh system costs less than the 10 kW + 32 kWh one | It carries half the storage. Array size and storage are separate decisions | If you only need evening backup for a few circuits, more array is not the answer |
Derived rows are calculated from the published unit prices using the same rules that reproduce the published rows exactly. They are indicative budgets, not quotations.
Turn a row into a proposal.
Pick the row closest to your need, then send the load list and site conditions. We will confirm the configuration and return an itemised bill of materials.

Frequently asked questions
Which rows are published prices and which are derived?
Six are published: the 10 kW + 32 kWh, 30 kW + 64 kWh and 60 kW + 128 kWh systems in the 220–240 V family, and the 6.5 kW + 16 kWh, 12 kW + 32 kWh and 36 kW + 64 kWh systems in the US family. The other seven are derived from the same unit prices and are marked in the table.
Does the price include shipping to my country?
No. Every figure is equipment, FOB. Freight, insurance, customs duty, local installation and permits are separate, and they depend on your port and your installer.
Can I buy just the battery, or just the modules?
Components are quoted, but a hybrid system is engineered as a set — the inverter has to match the battery and the array. If you are replacing one part of an existing system, send the existing specification so we can check compatibility before quoting.
Why is the US-voltage family more expensive per watt?
Mainly the inverter. A 12 kW dual-output 115/220 V unit runs $1,000–1,180 against $450–600 for the standard-voltage equivalent, and the accessories follow it upward.
Do these systems work during a grid outage?
Yes — that is what the hybrid inverter and the battery are for. How long they carry your load depends on the storage you specify and which circuits are on the backup board.
Are these prices current?
Component prices move. Treat the table as indicative and ask for the current sheet before you commit to a budget.
Send the load, get the number.
A row in this table is a starting point, not a quotation. Send your bills, generator hours and critical loads and we will come back with the configuration that fits.
